Ensuring Timely Access to Counselling for our Local Emergency Responders
The following list of Counsellors strive to maintain session availability to assist you maintaining emotional wellness. We recognize the cumulative impacts of first responder traumatic witnessing and moral injury, and believe it is important to ensure accessible and timely access to mental health clinicians. We are EMDR trained and occupationally aware.
Sessions will be time-limited and focus on assisting you to unpack recent traumatic events utilizing EMDR or other psychological first aid strategies.

How to get started:
- Review the list below and select a clinician
- Call/email the clinician, ask some questions to make sure you feel comfortable with them
- State your occupation to bypass the waitlist
- Provide the necessary info for the Clinician to set up pre-approval with your Employee Assistance Program in order to access direct billing
